The Holy Eucharist

We adore you, O Lord Jesus Christ,
in this Church and all the Churches of the world,
and we bless You, because,
by Your holy Cross You have
redeemed the world.

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi Before the Blessed Sarament

The Eucharist

I adore Thee, O Jesus, true God and true Man,
here present in the Holy Eucharist,
humbly kneeling before Thee
and united in spirit with all the faithful on earth
and all the blessed in heaven.
In deepest gratitude for so great a blessing,
I love Thee, my Jesus, with my whole heart,
for Thou art all perfect and all worthy of love.
Give me grace nevermore
in any way to offend Thee, and grant that I,
being refreshed by Thy Eucharistic presence
here on earth, may be found worthy
to come to the enjoyment with Mary
of Thine eternal and everblessed presence in heaven.

Amen.

Bread and Wine

"Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, 'Take, eat; this is my body.' And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, 'Drink of it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.''
Matthew 26:26-28
